Ideal for lovers of beaches and cities

Veneto is situated in the north-east of Italy. The region stretches from Lake Garda in the west to the eastern Dolomites in the north and the Adriatic in the east. Its greatest attraction is of course Venice: romantic unforgettable Venice, la Serenissima, chock-a-block with world-famous sights. You could also visit Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. And the amphitheatre where large opera productions are staged during the summer. The entire inner city classifies as a UNESCO World Heritage site. A whole host of historic towns and cities includes Vicenza and Padua, with its lively university city.

Besides these cultural attractions, the region boasts attractive and varied scenery. Broad sandy beaches, lush green hills and flat landscapes. And the wine region in the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene (50 kilometres north of Venice) is the cradle of the sparkling Prosecco wine.

A comfortable agriturismo in Veneto

I have selected a charming luxury agriturismo for you in Veneto. An agriturismo is a working farm where you can spend your holiday in luxurious and comfortable accommodation. In the peace and quiet of the countryside. That could be a room or an apartment, but also a luxury villa or a bed & breakfast. Our agriturismo in Veneto is situated only a few kilometres from lovely sand beaches. And close to lovely villages with promenades offering a wide choice of terraces, restaurants and shops.

A child-friendly agriturismo

The children want to have a great holiday too, of course! This child-friendly agriturismo is the ideal choice for them. They have a swimming pool with a children’s pool and plenty of space for discovery and play. Your children can easily make friends there. After a day on the beach or in the city, isn’t it wonderful to relax and enjoy luxury and comfort in the countryside?

Bacareto da Lele in Venice

If you're in Venice, skip the touristy restaurants and look for a bacaro – a small, traditional Venetian tavern where time seems to stand still. These cozy spots mainly serve ombre (small glasses of wine) and cicchetti (small portions of typical local dishes, similar to Spanish tapas), which you can enjoy either standing or sitting on simple stools. The atmosphere is informal, friendly, and deeply Venetian. One local favorite is Bacareto da Lele. It’s a bit hidden, but always full of life – students, workers, curious tourists… everyone gathers here for a refreshing aperitif and some tasty bites. Don’t expect a fancy place: it’s small, rustic, but authentic and full of charm. What makes a bacaro special isn't just the food or the wine, but the chance to soak in the true Venetian spirit.
